HWRHS Principal Jumps into freezing cold waters: 2019 Polar Plunge

Mr. Tracy warms up before taking the plunge

Long Beach, Gloucester MA—HWRHS Principal, Mr. Eric Tracy, and members of the Interact club joined many who participated in the 2019 Polar Plunge, a fundraising event to eradicate the Polio virus on Saturday, February 9th. Interact club raised $1,300. The temperature was 12,˚ with relentless winds that made the “feels like” temperature only 2,˚ according to the Weather Channel.
