Social Justice Club
About Social Justice Club
The Social Justice Club was founded in 2020 following the murder of George Floyd and was created to uplift BIPOC students at the high school. The groups efforts started virtually, holding online conversations and acquiring an Edfund grant to buy books for the school district about race and diversity. We’ve continued our work through advocacy on social media, educational corkboards, and fundraising events like the Movie Night, Thrift Fest, and Trivia Night! If you’re interested in learning, supporting, or joining local social justice causes, join us! We are seeking members, especially in grades 9-11, to help lead the club next year. Any interested folks should stop by!
