For the next two weeks, the Hamilton-Wenham High School Environmental Club is selling California Wildflower Seed Packets to raise money for those impacted by the Southern California wildfires.
From January 16th to 24th, you can make your donation with cash or Venmo (@sophiedoucette), at the table set up in the cafe or by scanning the QR code on the flyers around school. Look for the Environmental Club in the cafe during power blocks, lunches, and the time between midterm exams.
Each person who donates $5 will receive a packet of California Wildflower Seeds. Every dollar you donate will directly support the California Community Foundation Wildfire Fund, an organization that helps disaster and recovery efforts, as well as support an array of critical recovery services, including housing, case management, mental health, and medical care for displaced residents. In addition, the Pasadena Humane Society is an organization that works to provide shelter, safety, and dedicated care to all animals affected by the fires.
The Environmental Club and HWGivesback will each match donations dollar for dollar up to $500. Show your support today!
Every donation is greatly appreciated and will help people and animals who are displaced, injured, or in need.
