HOSA

About HOSA- Future Health Professionals

HOSA, officially known as HOSA-Future Health Professionals, is the career and technical student organization (CTSO) specifically dedicated to preparing students for careers in the Health Science career cluster. HOSA is very similar to the structure and functions of DECA, but rather than focusing on business-related fields, it focuses on healthcare. HOSA strives to promote interest and develop skills for health-occupation careers through competitive events, networking opportunities, community service, and leadership! Through this chapter, we will heavily emphasize the importance of community service projects, fundraising, and working with other organizations. We’ll also encourage members to participate in competitions, allowing them to choose from a variety of healthcare-related competitive events to further enhance their technical and leadership skills.

Since this club is only a chapter stemming from a nationwide student-led organization, it’s highly recommended that students who are interested visit the official HOSA page: https://hosa.org/. We are also a new club, so please don’t hesitate to email us with any ideas, questions, or comments you may have!
