Powered by ice cream: HW DECA fundraiser for ICDC on April 3rd
March 29, 2019
This Wednesday, April 3rd, you won’t have to leave the Regional for some delicious Captain Dusty’s ice cream.
Hamilton-Wenham DECA will be selling ice cream in the cafeteria on Wednesday after school—$3 for one scoop and $5 for two scoops. Flavors will include cookie dough, mint oreo, cookies and cream, and mocha chip.
All proceeds from the event will go towards students’ upcoming trip to the International Career Development Conference in Orlando, Florida, where students will compete in business tournaments on an international level.
Students are very excited for the trip, and although all are looking forward to learning, getting experience, and gaining transferrable skills, other aspects of Orlando are also appealing. Emily Vanderwilden (’19) can barely contain her excitement for a night at Universal Studios. As she puts it, “Harry Potter is calling.”
HW DECA president Tyler Vesey, among others, hopes to see you in the cafeteria on Wednesday after school. Tyler won’t give you free ice cream, so don’t ask!
