One of this week’s Student Artist-of-the-Week is Troy Hargrove. Troy is a sophomore who takes the B block Illustration class with Ms.Cooney. Illustration is a personal interpretation of a text or a concept designed by the artist using different media. The technique Troy used is called “morph” Morph is when the artist starts with one original subject and transforms it into an entirely different subject. Troy used simple pen and ink for his piece which he rightfully named “We are Venom.”
