The Sports Museum is having the 15th Annual Will McDonough Writing Contest. Students in grades 4 through 12 are encouraged to apply. The contest is held in the honor of the late Will McDonough who was a famous sports writer for the Boston Globe. The possible essay topics are the following; Great Moments in Sports, Game Changers, Good or Poor Sportsmanship, and eSports. Essays will be judged on topic development, organization, style, and mechanics. Students can turn in entries through the school or alternatively they can upload their writing themselves at www.sportsmuseum.org.

The deadline for submission is March 8, 2019 and the winners will be announced shortly after. The award ceremony will take place prior to the Celtics vs, Miami Heat game on April 1st. The rules for the contest are shown below.
